Feeling the rush of the cool breeze across our faces, the taste of sweat while it stings our eyes, and the dirt grinding in our teeth is what we live for. Conor and I are identical twin brothers and race for Team Exergy Pro cycling team.  You may also know us as the Gingers.  We grew up in Centennial, Colorado and have been racing for five and half years now. We played pretty much every sport growing up. In high school, we both played soccer but were never really good at it. We had a couple of friends in high school that raced for a local Junior cycling team, and we both thought it would be really cool to race and travel every weekend. The rest, well let’s say, is history.

We both graduated from Mesa State College in Grand Junction, Colorado with a Bachelors in Sports Management. We raced collegiate cycling all 4.5 years while going to school and won two Team Time Trial National Championships. Collegiate cycling was a great foundation and a great learning scene to get us prepared for where we are now.
We both are really looking forward for the 2012 season, and just received our rough draft schedule. It looks like it is going to be an awesome year. We both will be doing mainly crits, but have a couple stage races thrown in there. This is the first year we both are able to focus 100% on training this off-season since we are done with school.  It will definitely be nice to see the benefits from it. We are really excited to be racing for Team Exergy! We think it’s a team full of great riders and staff, and we couldn’t ask for anything better.
