I'm about level with 6ix at 5000 miles give or take.

All outdoor. Just saying.

Double bonus miles for the Oregon sand pit lol! And triple bonus for Dale's muddy adventures on the cyclocross circuit.

Good for you. I think I've hit my lowest in miles for the past 20 years. I'm afraid to even total up my mileage.

6ix and I are neck and neck but my bikes are parked while I do a complete garage cleanup. No, the cleanup doesn't mean I cannot ride, but I know that riding time will take real energy from this task that is one of those "gotta do this before I die" jobs. I've seen enough people die and leave real messes. I don't want to be one of them. I am also realizing that I am headed into the sunset of my life. I owe it to myself to make my living quarters more orderly and comfortable.

Don't worry. I'm not quitting riding. Being better organized will make it easier to get out and do it. But I am realizing things like crashing hurts more now, I heal slower and usually re-aggravate old injuries. This is approaching the solstice so not a bad time to say it's time for indoor projects. Yes, I've missed some classic fall weather for riding. Oh well.

Tomorrow I will do my Black Friday ride. ~76 miles, almost all road but the far point miles will be gravel so I'll be riding big tires. Gonna be hard with all my not riding. Not fast!

My browser asked me if I want to resend this like it didn't go through.  Curse it.  Firefox which I for the most part like a lot.

In other news looks like Dale is having some fun at Masters Worlds in Belgium. Trust we get a report upon return. For now he appears to be stuffing his face with Belgian waffles and he put a hand on MVDPs car. FB is still good for something...
