So I have always had problems with my feet falling asleep in my cycling shoes. I have played with position, different shoes, different inserts, blah, blah, blah. I have always thought it to be pressure related. However, I just got done with a great training ride in the upstate NY hills. I did Muscle Tension work in my 53-12 up every hill. I almost fell over several times but my feet never felt better and I am pretty sure this is the most pressure I have ever had on my feet. So what gives? is it rotational? Are my socks too thick? why are my feet falling asleep?

You two both have the exact same problem with your feet falling asleep? That is strange

It's the shoes! They may seem like they are the right size but when you feet swell it puts a lot more pressure on them causing them to go numb... at least that is what it was for me.
