Cav is out of the TdF due to a long stem. If he would have had a 100 or even 110 he would have won the sprint, but with a 140, well you know what happened!

yup, super small bike, he was on a 52, but then switched to a 49 with that crazy long stem

jm. 140 isn't long! Now, it had been say a 175, his bars would have been far enough out there that contact wouldn't have happened because his bars would have been clear ahead.
