Has anyone used a Mio Link? My wife hates HR monitor straps but likes to monitor HR. Is Mio a good option?

No experience with one, but I am curious, I was reading about this, and that it is compatible with some bike computers, unfortunately it will not work with my Garmin Edge 500, which is a bummer because their heart monitor straps suck.
I think the technology used is a pretty cool idea
