what kind of shoes do you all use when commuting on wet days?

Just defeet oversocks and neoprene booties (velcro only, no zippers!) with regular mtb shoes. I'm sure there's a better system but this is works for me for most of the our rainy days. If it is really raining hard though, wet feet happen and life goes on. That's why I have a shoe dryer.
I'm sure this will be tested again tonight and tomorrow.

I wear my Acura. I choose not to ride in traffic at night. Too crowded here. I'll go ride at night in the woods instead. I wear North Wave winter shoes. They work pretty well but wetness will get in the tops if it's really wet. Not much to prevent that.

i usually drive when it's raining but it's been raining a lot lately. mostly drizzly so my 10 minute commute leaves me fairly dry. however the other day i got about half a mile from the house and it started pouring so i got soaked. this got me thinking of rain pants and rain shoes. rain pants are a no brainer but shoes got me wondering. what keeps the rain from running down your legs into your shoes? i guess the idea is to have them tall enough they tuck up into the legs of the rain pants?

neoprene booties work well, even in the snows here, nice and dry, winter boots with a gore-tex liner also, not cheap, but you will get years out of them........
At the shop, we got in some new Giro Alpinenduro shoes, these look pretty good, and they are only 200 bucks retail.
Endura Singletrack II pants, Skinny, these just go over your booties/winter boots, work pretty well, plus they have some other options, that are even better than the Singletrack, plus they are packable. These guys are from Scotland, so they know a few things about riding in the wet muck

I biked for 3+ hrs in a 100mm rainstorm last Friday. I've had the shoes by the furnace since. This morning they were still not completely dry (that's why I have a 2nd pair). No amount of protection will work in that :-)
