That is an awesome price, close to 1000 lumens for 54.00? Too cool.......

What are the run times like?

Dunno yet....haven't received my MasterFlash 860 yet and have't taken the Blitzu 960 out for a ride since I got it. Usually do a trail ride on Tuesday night with the boys, so hopefully I'll have a better idea after tomorrow, but the weather is lookin' kinda dicey.

Suppose I could just set it up in the basement and see how long it lasts on the brightest mode, just for schitts & giggles....

If I only knew the max charge time on the MF860 battery. Really hate to have it burst into flames trying to get the max time. Really want to use it for daytime strobe. I'll have to give it a test for run time on strobe mode.

My MasterFlash has yet to be delivered.....was supposed to be here Sat. Grrrr.....Amazon said tomorrow. FFS, it is just being delivered from Kenosha...only 35 minutes away. What's weird is that they packed my other light with another, unrelated order and had those items delivered by an Amazon truck....but yet this other light is coming USPS.

And people wonder why Amazon isn't profitable.

I ordered six bags of coffee from Starbucks. Five came in one box with inflatable packing material greater in volume than one bag. The sixth bag came in another box.

Oh yeah....the amount of packaging and packaging material you get from Amazon is staggering.

But theya re focused on revenue-generation, not profitability. We have had some of their buyers flat-out tell us that they will take our stuff if we can get it to them at a price where they will only lose $5 / unit instead of $7 / unit.

Seriously, WTF? how can you run a business like that? Mind you, from a consumer's POV, I don't care....I abuse the crap out of my Prime membership and I love cheap stuff as much as the next guy, but at some point, there has to be a reckoning.

Back in my days as an engineer, I saw the change from partnerships to corporate owned firms. I remember being condescended to when I asked if it wouldn't be MORE profitable to keep good people around in the lean times, even if it meant going after lower profit, less interesting work, rather than firing and hiring for the almighty quarter.

As much as it's common sense that being penny wise can easily be pound foolish, it took a huge economic collapse in 2008 for this to be somewhat more obvious.

CK, your light is probably attached to a drone that is still looking for your house :-)

This is why I don't buy $4it online...and did I not give you guys fair warning about testing bike lights in the basement?

I must have missed that warning...what was it?

Light arrived today. A little fitting with the mount, a few zip ties and I got it securely on my helmet. So I'll have 960 lumens on my HB and 860 lumens on my lid.

Probably overkill, but for $100? Would have set me back ~$500 at least if I bought Light & Motion or Nite Rider.

This whole light thread has given me a flash back to two things. One, is the Wonder Light I used to have for a touring bike, white with that weird battery. Two, the "blinkers" I had on my banana seat bike. Now that sh!t was cool.

New lights = thumbs up!!!

Rarely needed or used both together as one by itself was usually sufficient, but when I wanted to use both, it was GREAT!

1720 lumens for $100? Well worth it.
