Looking at ebay but getting stuff from several ebay sellers is going to be expensive shipping-wise. I'd rather just get my upgrade gruppo from one place only. I need tt shifters, front and rear derailleurs, crankset, bb cups, chain and cassette plus a Campy compatible Mavic hub body.
I remember people mentioning sourcing their stuff from the UK. Is it that much cheaper? How long does it take to ship? Anyone in the US?

check out velomine. they have lots of centaur and athena for an ok price and are in the us. if you hit pro bike kit or wiggle for the right amount, free shipping to the usa. I have used pro bike kit in the past and was surprised how fast it arrived. be prepared for it to be gray market though

I've used Ribble and ShinyBikes ( ) ( ) for campy purchases, both have great pricing, right now Ribble has a 10% off on top of their normal pricing. Check them out. I also use Velomine for certain purchases and in fact just ordered a set of Veloce shifters, every so often Velomine pricing is competitive to Euro's on certain items such as those shifters or Alu wheels like Mavic Pros, A23 or H Plus Son.

That's an oxymoron. No such thing, unless you don't mind it being made in China:

U.K. prices are good. However shipping is not as fast as it was before. However I think it depends if an order gets stuck going through customs. I used to order from a U.K. dealer until someone hacked my credit card, which was caught by my credit card company. I contacted the U.K. dealer (who was Pro Bike Kit by the way) and they said they did not process their own orders, they are outsourced to a private company. If you take the time to do an internet search on a specific item, you can probably find what you want in the good old U.S.A. A few years back I bought a brand new San Marco Regale saddle online for around $50.00. I've also found items, such as Campy Veloce cassettes for under $70.00. A lot of U.S.A. dealer offer free shipping. Art's Cyclery has free shipping if you order is over $50.00. I ordered a Mavic O.P. rim for $71.00, no shipping, tax yes. I received it next day on my doorstep. Look around. Also you credit card company will convert the U.K. currency into USD, so some prices are not a sweet as they appear.

Haven't priced Campy but has some of the lowest US prices on Shimano when they run sales. They sell Campy too

The often run sales codes for 20 -25% off

I looked at Texascyclesports.....Campy upgrade groups are only for 11 speed. It that makes a diff..

Total cycling from Ireland is one source but in general UK dealers can send VAT exempt which gives them a special advantage. the other thing is regardless of world pricing policies European wholesale is 1 fewer handler than N.Am which often have a manufacturer rep like Campy USA which don't act like an extension of Campy Italy. Campy USA does not make a complete parts list available to N. am customers either. Even though most parts out of Campy are available from Campy Italy, it is still often impossible to get the part out of Campy USA. For example I have an original edition front 10 speed DER and need a new cage. The part is in the catalogue but if I order one from Campy in Canada I pay the same as a new DER. The price for the cage is really closer to 1/2 the price of a new one. In general I get the best prices for Euro manufactured products from Euro mail order and American products from US mail-order. Ebay occasionally trumps all.

Thanks for the suggestions all. I'd checked out VeloMine (they're all over ebay) before posting the original question but they don't have a 11 sp. Chorus crankset in 175mm 53x39 (????!!). Ribble from the UK sounds pretty good although I don't know if they're not going to get me on shipping.
