Josh poertner, formerly at ZIPP, has bought Silca from its Italian owners. He will be moving the company to Indianapolis.

Good for him, but I reckon there may be a sense of "That ain't a Silca" once the new product starts to flow out. I think there is a huge potential upside as the brand has been very neglected over the years......but with a smart product line-up and some new designs, he could make it work.

Just say "NO!" to WCP!!!!

A classic for sure. I had a Silca frame pump in British racing green to match my late lamented Ron Cooper. I liked their floor pumps too. Hope he makes a go of it.

Rockin the Silcas since 1975...
All the mini pumps with their clips and straps and endless strokes leave me wanting.
