I recently experienced a delamination in my Mad Fiber wheel and since they shuttered the doors I thought I was screwed on the wheel with the possibility of never riding the wheel again which is a shame. The wheels rode great for the 20 times I used them before the delam. After calling all the carbon repair company's I settled on Spyder because they sounded best equipped for the repair and it sounds like they repair a gang of these wheels, plus I they used an x-ray to see if the delam went through the entire flange which it did. After about three weeks I got the wheel back and it looked and rode great, if anyone ever has a problem with their Madfibers I recommend Spyder for the fix but I'm sure Calfee or some of the small shops could probably do it as well. So don't chuck the wheels their is a solution.

I really liked the design they were trying.

Anyway, glad to hear you were able to find a solution - a riding buddyhad a little bit of a timing issue with Spyder, but was ultimately pleased with the outcome for his frame repair.

Too bad Mad Fiber was not able to last, or didn't get enough market acceptance fast enough, to continue to be financially viable and evolve their designs. I suspect good things would have eventually resulted from the next few rounds of working those design ideas.
