28 seconds over 10km! Who could argue with that data?! :>)

specialized does make a good fitting shoe. The fabric around the collar and around the heal however does not last.

The red S-Works are gorgeous. I had a pair for about 3 days but painfully learned that they changed the upper, in particular the tongue. Zero padding now. The Boa cables kind of dig into the top of your foot, or at least they did mine. So now I'm back to wearing my old white/black S-Works shoes until they fall apart.

I loved my Specialized shoes the first years I had them. Then I bought a pair of Bont shoes. best I have found based on function and comfort. Looks? Not so much. Not ugly but their special shape takes some getting used to.
For me the specialized were a big improvement over the shimano shoes that replaced witch were not as comfortable as the carnacs and the Look shoes way back to the diadoras that were not made for clipless pedals

What does a pair of these got for these days? Spez does make a good shoe. Have not worn any of their stuff for a few years now. Been wearing a pair of Fizik's R1 road shoes, these have been pretty sweet, full carbon sole, full Kangaroo leather, heat moldable soles, very light and very comfy. Best thing about these is that they were a gift from a manufacturer's rep to test out, along with a pair of their M1 MTB shoes, these are very good also, but almost TOO stiff.
