Flashback Monday that will set us old geezers hearts all atwitter Here's what the seller has to say: Suntour Superbe Pro 6 speed grouppo, complete. Almost new condition, no scratches, minimal tool marks, clean factory grease still in bearings. Brake hoods rotted, otherwise perfect. Ambrosio rims, d/b spokes. $1150.00 firm Oh man, if I had an unallocated grand just collecting dust...

I typically only drool over elevation profiles but this looks superbe.

That's the to-die-for set on the Fuji Pros we were selling in 1977. Being a poor bike mechanic/racer, I had last year's model with Sugino/Nitto/Cyclone (and 5 speed as were all my other wheels and bikes). If those cranks were 175 I'd consider jumping on it. Of course, with a 130 spaced ti bike, it would be a real force fit and injustice to a fine hub.)
I have a pair of those brakes. Truly nice!

That was nice stuff back in the day. As good as one could get. I had the MTB version of Suntour XC Pro? Microdrive stuff. Looked nice but the indexing was $4ite.

Gorgeous. Took a page from Campy's book with this set.
