The just had to go and name it Metron(ic), didn't they?

*sheesh* Is there no one at FSA older than 25?

Pssst.....it was MeKtronic. But you'll be forgiven your poor memory given YOUR age. []

Just say "NO!" to WCP!!!!

At least they didn't name it Medtronic... or Zap

(how's THAT for memory?)

And I DO know it was Mektronic (I owned one), still thought FSA should have come up with a name more dissimilar than Mavics' version

And have some respect for your elders, would 'ya?

Well, unfortunately, they had settled on Merton a few years ago as their road group moniker.... and my guess was that electronic shifting was the last thing on their minds.

The even sadder reality is that there are only a handful of people that will even come close to sniffing the similarities.

I really liked the Mektronic stuff, especially sitting out on the little extensions, getting aero and being able to shift. Was a great "hammer" position.
