Still deciding whether to go Di2 or CX-1. Googled the subject and came across this (((((((((( http://cyclingtips.com.au/2013/02/let-the-season-begin/ ))))))))))))). I guess the peloton does't think to much of SRAM.

I'd chose Shimano over SRAM any day. I've been using SRAM 1x11 on my mountain bikes the past couple seasons. The rear dérailleur has this creaking thing from the clutch that I have not been able to cure. It shifts pretty well but not quite as well as Shimano. And they have had plenty of disc brake issues too. But you can easily run their single chain ring, their cassette but will a XTR rear dérailleur work with mechanical Shimano road levers? Probably not.

Bingo. SRAM has the clear edge if you want to use road shifters with mtb derailleurs, which happens to be most of my riding now, but this is just a niche. And even with this setup I, too like the shimano cassettes a bit better.

SRAM is the sexy new young girlfriend you leave your wife of 20 yrs for. 1 yr in you see the light and your pocket book is a tad lighter for that revelation.

LOL! We can now close this tread, log off and call it a day.

THAT, my friends, is how you win the internet!
