Replacing Campy Skeleton brake pads

I have the newer Campy Chorus Skeleton brakes. The brake pads are supposed to be removed by placing a small fat headed screw driver in the spring holder and pushing them out. Could not get them to budge. Also removed the holder and attempted to pull out the brake pads with a plier. Still no luck. Any advice, or any other after market brake pad set that would work? My older pre 2000 Campy Skeleton brakes were no problem with brake pad replacement. Yikes!

If you can't get them out, just buy a new set of pads with holders and swap 'em out. I currently run Shimano / SRAM pads on my Campag brakes with zero issues and can easily replace the pads.....and i have a lot more pad options now, as well.
Just say "NO!" to WCP!!!!

C.K. Thanks, will the Shimano/Sram hardware work with the Campy 11 Skeleton brakes, or can I use the Campy hardware that I already have? Can't seem to find any info on the internet that addresses that...

The Shimano / SRAM hardware should work on the Campag brakes, no problem. The only thing that is "proprietary" about the pads is the shape, not how they attach to the brake arms.
Just say "NO!" to WCP!!!!

Not to admit I'm a bonehead. I bought the Campy Chorus 11 Skeleton brakes back in March. The holders/pads were already on the brakes, so I just instaslled them on my bike. Just discovered the rear brake holders were on ass backwards. I reversed them and now the pads come out easy with the spring release. To top it off, the pads are fine, don't need replacing, so I'm good...another day in the life of a senior citizen...

On backwards!?! You're lucky the pads didn't come out under hard braking since Campagnolo uses a spring clip rather than a set screw to hold them in place.

Glad you have it dialed in.
