I had some irritating creakage on the Merlin this weekend so after I washed her down, I removed the cranks and bottom bracket and was greeted with a pool of water sitting in the shell.
On my CoMotion I drilled a second hole in the shell so water could drain, but drilling through ti is no fun so I punched a small hole in the screw that holds the guide in place. My question - are their screws made like this? Seems like there should be since keeping things dry and lubed are critical in a bottom bracket shell.
I tried some google fu for an answer and didn't come up with anything. |
