Being a huge car enthusiast, I always get a smile when I see some of the amazing 'restomod' creations made by brands such as Singer or Eccentrica.  If you're not familiar with the Porsche 911 masterpieces done by Singer, I highly recommend a google image search.

Which made me think...is there a cycling equivalent?  I've seen modern Campagnolo groups given the bright polish treatment combined with etched graphics.  Nice.  But what about frames?  And wheels?  Rolf offered their Prima wheels in bright polish for a while so that's something.

I'm thinking it would be neat to see a modern interpretation of a Colnago Masterlight, with chrome highlights, the requisite cloverleaf tubing profile and airbrushed graphics in hot 90's hues.

What other bikes need a modern re-do?

Bianchi made a run of a retro bike a few years ago.
