This stuff is nice, really nice!!! New favorite bib shorts are the MTR thin sofshell bibs, 150.00 retail, nicer than anything on the market IMHO, some great merino wool options in jerseys, and softshell style jerseys, and some fantastic rain gear, especially the MTR jacket. The Scot's know a few things about gear for riding in bad weather

I have a few pieces including a nice rain jacket.. MT500 I think. Great cut, great venting and other touches but the fabric wets out pretty fast. Really hard to beat actual goretex fabric for real rain. I thought exactly what you thought, wet gear from California or Scotland?

I have the single shell knickers, mostly great, needed an extra waist snap and the velco taps around the calf could be more stout. Very study and confortable. I would buy another set in a second. I had the humvee 3/4, but that was overkill - built for freeriding in the rain.

the MT500 is a very good jacket Oldfart, the new MTR is pretty nice. I have a pair of those 3/4 Humvees Lonslowdistance, they are overkill, I wear them in the winter only these days. I picked up a new pair of the cordura humvee shorts, these things are bombproof. We just rec'd a huge Endura order for the shop, I'm really enjoying testing this stuff!!
Another great product? Osprey Hydration packs, my old camelback is still kicking, but it may time to upgrade

Geez gonzo are you my mirror image? I have an Osprey pack too. The magnetic hose clip is brilliant. But I just got me a camelback lumbar model. Forget which one and is really nice. Much less movement.
