I just got some new Look Sprints. I took the left old pedal off, but the right ?? snapped 2 of my 15mm wrenches plus an alen wrench. No budge. Sprayed some WD40, still no budge. Any advice ?
Thanks, -Greg |

Greg,
I know you probably did it right, but I'll mention it anyway: Since you got the left pedal (with its left-handed thread) off alright I assume you also tried to get the right pedal off in the correct direction?
Other than that I once had a pedal that I could only get in manually a few turns, then had to use a wrench. Come to think of it it's still on my touring bike and I hope I don't ever have to take it off again....
I tried to put it on several times, thinking I was not screwing it in perfectly level, but I never was able to do it without a wrench.

Thanks, today I'm going to get an extention so I can have a longer leverage. My biggest fear is when I put so much pressure on the wrench, when it snapped it flew by missing the carbon by a couple cm's. scary |

Got it. The Look Sprints + Shimano R220 shoes are a huge difference. No more loosing circulation in toes and feet. |
