Mt Hamilton above in previous post with Lick Observator from Grant Ranch. Below is Mt Diablo from south of Livermore. What they will see when they get out of the Mt Hamilton descent. The top of Diablo is the peak on the left. They will traverse the foothill in the forground and go up on the front and left side before coming back to the side facing the camera for the last push to the top.

Mt Hamilton is nice - I did the west side once up to Lick when I lived in the area; never managed to ride Diablo. No Santa Cruz Mnts stage this year - bummer, those were my roads. What time does the tour tracker come on today? I am looking at a black screen and am wondering if its too early or the bloody old IE explorer at work. http://tourtracker.amgentourofcalifornia.com/

I rode up Diablo on Saturday. Hundreds of cyclists, I assume for TOC package tours, going up the mountain. Car drivers were relegated. Strange tho to see so many groups with their particular identical outfits. Luckily it was fairly cool that day.

and the hd picture is $4it. I don't think they are using HD cameras. Tge Giro coverage is amazing in comparison.

The camera issue is beyond annoying. We've been able to provide live camera feeds for decades. Now we have newer technology, and it borders on being unbearable to watch. What's worse is that it just seems to be OK. "Let's just pretend like it is not happening". If I were a part of the ToC organization, or a title sponsor, I would snap.
