Giro 2014: what did we learn?

It takes all kinds to make this sport, sprinters, climbers, roleurs.

I just checked the results every day, didn't really follow any of the stages. It seemed like another cold wet Giro. The riders might develop a complex about racing in Italy in May. Good for the jacket manufs.

If I could win stages at will like Bouhani, I'd be happy even if the top 3 sprinters were absent for his wins.

Quintana and Movistar made the right choice. Win a few Giros and Vueltas and wait for a Tour that suits him. In the meantime, don't let that TT rig gather any dust.
