Stage 2 is a must watch for those who missed in. It had all the ingredients of a 1-day classic race.

Epic. A few GC guys showed weakness. Puerto and Andy are done. I'm shocked Andy did not have a good day! Why does he even bother to race?

Great result for him. Stage win, yellow jersey, and big mental boost. Even if his GC efforts don't end on top of the box he has today (and who knows how many days in yellow).

I like that the first week isn't a tour around France...er, UK, and the big guns have already fired!

Being an old pro at getting blown off, I don't think that is what happened. She appears to be getting ready for the kiss by putting her arm around his shoulder but then suddenly turns as if distracted by something offstage and lo and behold, the lion is handed to her. My guess is she was called to and was simply responding in the moment.
