Let's be honest...this is going to be a stage to remember.

I hope it rains like cats and dogs, doesn't bode well for Froome (aka: the Triathlete)

Well, what is interesting is that there are a whole bunch of Classics guys that are now not protecting serious GC threats.....and are on teams that need a stage win.

So look for Omega, trek and Belkin to throw the hammer down tomorrow, hunting for a stage win. This is gonna put serious pressure on the GC guys to stay in contact and upright. If someone like Nibali can hang on to their wheels, theyc an gain some time of Froome.

Also, Sky w/o the services of Edvald Boassen Hagen is gonna hurt.

Belkin is 100% behind protecting Mollema. They intend to make a difference tomorrow but only for GC sake. Omega for sure they will be making it hard for the glory of day. Same with Cannondale, Trek.

One has to wonder how certain guys will feel after today :-)

Put these predictions of epic carnage are just that. Lets see if Stage 5 exceeds Stage 2. Double treat tomorrow; Stage 5 and then WC semis. Not much work will get done.

Dale, there are accidents waiting to happen, then there is Andy Schleck where the accidents don't wait.

Velonews termed Schleck's withdrawl 'an anonymous exit'

too bad; seems like a serious knee injury

Damn I've been beaten to Andy bashing. Looks like a day for Sagan and Sparticus. Terptra? Van Amaerat but he will be protecting TJ.

I'm staying away from the net tomorrow during work. This is a stage I want to watch without knowing the outcome

The GC guys should form a grupetto tomorrow if it rains.
EDIT: just to be clear, my tongue is firmly pressed against my cheek.

Anyone know how badly Froome's wrist is injured? Here come the cobbles . . . Maybe he can get a medical exemption for a suspension fork.

I bet Froome would love to get a TUE ( some kind of pain killer ) for the wrist but at this point he can't risk the media storm that would come with it.
