Could have been the first Australian tour winner back in the 90s and possibly completely changed that era. I must admit I had never heard of him, not owning a TV in those days but he sounds like an amazing talent, Greg Lemond or Sagan style. At the same time one has to wonder how a talent like that would have fared in the juiced up era.

That's a sad read. Very unfortunate for a young talent with a full life ahead of him...
