Good lord....Sagan's position makes babies cry.

Amazes me that a professional can have a position that bad....especially when his bike sponsor owns a freakin' wind tunnel.

Meh....different eras, different understandings. The reality is that Sagan has a really poor position on a TT bike. Upright and basically a big scoop between his arms and chest. When the differnce comes down to 1" over 10K at those speeds, it is pretty hard to ignore a horrific position like that.

maybe he's one of those riders whose power drops too much when assuming the "ideal" aero position. Not all top roadies can do it.

He doesn't have to get in an "ideal" position...he just has to get in one that doesn't suck. Mediocre would have sufficed the other day.

This pic is from ToC, but his position does not seem to have changed....sorry, this position is horrific. I get that TT's aren't a concern for him (normally), but jeebus...
