My guess is that many of you will agree with this sentiment.  While I love the beauty of the Giro, I just can't bring myself to watch or follow it this year as seeing Froome on the start line is simply too much.  It's continued smugness by Brailsford and Sons that basically says they can get away with anything and who are we to dare challenge them.

Plus, the first three stages in Israel are going to be a security nightmare.  I'm surprised there wasn't more of an outcry by the riders union as they are rolling targets while there.  A terrorist attack would be extremely easy and would be seen by hundreds of millions.

I'm gonna watch....even though I sincerely believe that Froome has no place in the race. On paper, it looks to be the most competitive GT of the year....both in the course and the riders racing.

I can't hold the idiocy of the UCI and their glacial pace of resolution against the Giro. Froome is entitled to race according to UCI rules (unfortunately).

I'd like to watch it, but my only option is fugotv, which is costly just to watch a week race. Maybe recaps on Youtube(?)
Tour Of Ca starts May 13th.....

WADA sets the rules creating the glacial pace. The UCI needs to follow those. Blame WADA.

While I have questions about bringing the race to a country with questionable politics, security wise they will be just as fine as racing just about anywhere.

Froome's presence notwithstanding I'd love to watch it as it is the most exciting GT of the three; alas no time at that hour of the day (watch it live or just read the score; don't believe in watching things after the fact).

One of the advantages of having the Giro in Israel is that the Hebrew life stream (which is still happening) is quite reliable and good quality.

Link? Not that it matters...I signed up for the FloBikes package. $30 for the month, HD stream and decent commentary. I've dropped $1 / day on dumber stuff in my life!!
