And Mont Royal. A younger me watched Merckx et al in 74, that really was something special. Glad the current events are in good health, unlike TOC, which was always on unsure ground due to conflicts with California weather vs western Europe weather and schedule. We love cycling, and live in the richest pro sports spot on the planet, but that's not enough to keep the very top level of pro cycling active here. Money talks, just watch the next World Cup soccer tourney in heat stroke cramp land.

Yes Montreal but it's also in Quebec province. I just lumped them. They're twins. It should be possible to have a string of one day races across north America in month leading up to worlds that classics racers could target while others use Vuelta as tune up.
