For as much as we need dedicated sponsors in this sport, we don't need lying, cheating, manipulative, snakes in the grass like Danilo Di Luca anywhere near it. He does not deserve to ever again compete in any major races. He's had his chances, time, time, and time again, and he's utterly blown them. Any sponsor that would willingly bring him onto their team is therefore part of the problem. I've already sent a note to Geox expressing these feelings, and can only hope they're getting hundreds, hopefully thousands more in various languages.

Now if he does a Michael Rasmussen and signs with some tiny nothing of a team that just wants his name power, that's slightly less of a big deal. But it's still wrong. It's the name power of a sporting criminal. And we as fans need to say "Basta!" Enough is enough, and we shouldn't take it anymore.
