“I feel I’m ready for the Tour of Flanders,” Devolder told reporters at the finish on Sunday, before pushing his way through the scrum to motor-pace home behind his father’s scooter."

So you are in the four man finale at Ghent after 233km and you MOTORPACED home afterward?????

Mon Dieu!

Trek is in a good position on Sunday....they send Stijn up the road in a early break to makr things and let FC get an armchair ride the rest of the day.

Just say "NO!" to WCP!!!!

"Hard Again". Muddy Waters, 1977, with James Cotton and Johnny Winter. Produced by Johnny Winter. A re-birth for both men; Muddy Waters from obscurity as blues was fading from the popular scene and Johnny Winter from his rocking/drugging days. And for me. I saw almost that lineup with all three of them a year after that album came out and early after my head injury.

For me, it was also the completion of a circle. When I was an early teen, Johnny Winter was one of my music heroes. When I saw him, he said that all of his music was the blues; that we had to see Muddy Waters to see the best. Because of that, I spent 5 hours listening to Muddy Waters in a club a year later. Life changing for me.

Thanks Keith, for putting Devolder on my screen.

Devolder will be the guy for Trek, Terpstra will be the guy for OPQS. One of them will at least podium at Flanders.

Hey, I posted about the post-race motorpacing yesterday :-)

Problem with DeVolder is DeVolder. Very well possible he's the MAN next Sunday, depends which DeVolder shows up between the ears.

Man... I wish I had seen this race. Hell, I wish I could have seen ANY race this spring. So far I've missed Superbowl, most of the NCAA, huge chunks of spring classics, opening day of baseball...

I need to get my a$$ home and it better be spring when I get there or I'm gonna pitch an almighty b*tch fest.
