Impossible not to bet on Spartacus for the win but here's my top 6

1) Cancellara
2) Terpstra
3) Stybar
4) Van Avermaet
5) Boonen
6) Devolder

Now go bet all your money and cut me in on the winnings

it appears NBC Sports will NOT be televising PR this year. my how the fall of -7 has affected programming.

anyone know of a cable channel that will carry it? or is it back to Steephill?

Check Bein - they showed RVV on tape delay, but with commercials that were not thoughtfully placed in terms of which parts of the race were most important.
PS: I would love to see Canc and Boonen come into the velodrome together.

1) Cancellara
2) Devolder
3) Degenkolb
4) Terpstra

Degenkolb seems super strong lately; however he does not have the tactical acumen of Cancellara.

Fabian, Sep, Stybar.....

Put 'em in a hat and take whatever order they come out in. Cancellera was not completely dominant in Flanders for me to list him as a overwhelmeing favortie (but definitely THE favorite).

I think Boonen's thumb injury is costing him more than we originally thought. Hand injuries and PR really don't go together too well.

I am going to keep picking Terpstra for the big win this spring until it happens! My only question is, are there too many chiefs on OPQS for the spring classics this year?

I agree with CK about Cancellara not being the dominant force in Flanders and how it will play into P-R.

But having said that, outside of Boonen, who among the favorites can out sprint Fabian if it comes down to a small group in the velodrome?

Sep looked REALLY good following Fabians wheel. Greg was real strong in Flanders and he has a good team supporting him.

Stijn is obviously on good form and when he is...anything is possible for him if things get tactical for Trek.

Dark horses....Degenkolb and Kristoff. Kristoff has impressed the $hit out of me.

Cancellera, unless he crashes or has a mechanical. Luck is a factor.

NBC Sports is airing P-R the next day (Monday). Guess I can't look at the internet Sunday.

NBC Sports Network is streaming the race live, IIRC. I'm planning on watching it from the trainer....(weather is supposed to be cr@p here on Sunday).

Side note - Sunday is my favorite sports day of the year....Roubaix in the AM and then The Masters in the afternoon. If I get a good ride in on Sunday AM, then I may even be able to sneak in a nap while watching the golf.

To me, the real guess is Boonen. He started the year looking like he was completely back. Then the miscarriage. And thumb. But there is a chance that he has come back to form and that his thumb won't slow him down. What we do know is 1) he has the heart of a lion, 2) he wants this race and 3) he knows and loves this race like few ever have. If things are clicking for him and the race gods cooperate, watch out!

Oh, and he rides with probably the strongest P-R team ever. Other teams have to respect Terpstra or Stybar going up the road.

I'd like to see:

Boonen
Cancellara
Terpstra

with Stybar also in the top 10

CK....BMC has a really good squad going into P-R. I personally think they are one of the stronger teams.

31 VAN AVERMAET Greg Belgium
32 BURGHARDT Marcus Germany
33 DILLIER Silvan Switzerland
34 HUSHOVD Thor Norway
35 PHINNEY Taylor United States
36 QUINZIATO Manuel Italy
37 SCHÄR Michael Switzerland
38 WYSS Danilo Switzerland

Silvan Dillier has been in a lot of late moves this spring. I like this squad for this weekend with a little luck on their side.

According to the NBCSN schedule, 7:00 AM Sunday is Premier League 36.
Monday 8:00 PM is PR.  I don't think I could wait until Sunday.

Edit:  I see what you mean.  It is streaming at 7:00 AM Sunday.

NEWSFLASH - Devolder is out for P-R, according to Velonews.

Things just got a little tougher for Trek and Fabian.
