With all the Wiggins/Froome leadership strife and carefully worded statements that don't really say anything definite, and now the stories about Uran, it's all started to seem too choreograhed to me.
Sky is , after all, a media company. The pro-wrestling soap opera aspect that people love to talk about in their favorite pro sports won't be lost on them. In Canada, for hockey, the 'storyline' management conflicts, who doesn't like who, who tweeted what, etc, is as much a part of the hockey fan culture as the games themselves and the soap opera is delivered to fans daily.
I wonder how much of this is intentional story line released to keep fans talking about sky and maximize their publicity. |
