Wondering who noticed this last night during the TdF coverage on NBCSN. Who was the last person to win the overall TdF and a stage in Mulhouse? Bob Roll says it was Merckx but wasn't it technically Armstrong in 2000? I was really ticked at myself for saying Armstrong only to be told I was wrong. Could have sworn LA won the final TT at Mulhouse while wearing yellow.

Nope....technically, -7's only stage wins in the Tour were in '93 & '95, and he never won the Tour.

Just say "NO!" to WCP!!!!

I just don't like them completely disregarding the last 20 years of cycling. Seems stupid. Just because they don't say anything about it doesn't mean it didn't happen. There were still races and there were winners. All of the disqualifications made years afterwards doesn't change what really happened.

Agreed. Analogy: Barry Bonds did hit all those home runs. Yes he cheated but it's silly to pretend they never happened.

I've been saying it for years....certify all past results and mark the years from the early 90's to 2010-ish as the "blood doping era" and move on......
Just say "NO!" to WCP!!!!

Whatever happened to Spear of Lance? I mean, he was a dope, but he did exist. We can't deny that.

Spear and the rest of the sycophants stayed behind when we made the move to this forum.
