Good news but couple questions in background...rumours of Boom having signed with Sky...Mollema perhaps with Trek and Kelderman was also in talks (Orica?). So while team is funded, lets see what it looks like next year.
The most interesting part about joint sponsorship of a cycling and speed skating team by Lotto is that it potentially opens the door for Sven Kramer to mix things up and do some bike racing at professional level. He's been pondering that possibility, him and Mollema used to race against each other in junior ranks.
And lets hope the team will have some sensible kits next year; a Dutch team in green is just not done  |
