This is fun!  Tinkoff-Saxo have challenged Sky/Froome and Astana/Nibaly to ride both the Giro and Tour to make both head to head races with the best!

Already Sky and Astana have hedged, not that I expected otherwise, but still, this is fun!

This makes me queasy. I've been conditioned to think that racing for GC at a GT is extremely hard and to expect anyone, let alone multiple guys on various teams to race for GC with only 4-6 weeks between GTs is not a good thing. If Contador can do it and get away with it, then good for him. The rest of the teams are going to put their best horse in the Tour and make goals for the other GTs based on what's available.
