All the big names are on the road. Another tough day for Wiggins. Scarponi is flying!

Phinney's been saying he's not feeling good.

Wow Wiggins clawed back a lot of time on second part which suited him better.

That is one tough TT course

Apparently Phinney didn't do too well but it has not stopped him from Twittering.. maybe he'll never live up to those high expectations. There always seems to be one thing or another that thwarts him. https://twitter.com/taylorphinney

Nibali looks like he's going to crush this one.

The course is so long there is a feed zone according to a Phinney tweet.

Wiggo not toast and that's with a bike change and a few bobbles. Wow way to recover and get it rolling.

That was quite the ride by Evans and Nibali. I wonder if Evans could actually take this thing?

Ryder is the big loser of the day, bummer.

After today, I am sensing a Nibali, Scarponi, Evans podium but who knows; this Giro certainly has been throwing surprises every day. Love it.

Nibbles is firmly in the drivers seat after today. What gc guy can put time into him?

Would be cool to see Evans win.

Bummer for Ryder. I was hoping he could pull of the repeat. Great recovery by Wiggins.

like the team sky put together for last year's tour, i suspect this team is also designed to help wiggo in the high mountains. lots of racing to go; i wouldn't write wiggins off yet.

Some of you are pretty jumpy, there are two weeks left and a lot can happen.

I do wonder what happened to RH.  Maybe he got his "off" day out of the way and will ride like his chamois is on fire now.

At this point it seems not so much a question of whether Ryder simply had an off day and will light up things in mountains but a couple of other guys performing above expectations, notably Evans and Scarponi. Even if he can ride like his chamois is on fire he's looking at a pretty hefty deficit. But I'll certainly continue rooting for him.

Nibali is riding this Giro like he plans to win it. Evans is still riding a fine GC. Everyone else is going to have to do something big to dethrone Nibali unless bad luck falls his way.

I liker what I am seeing. I was worried Nibali might have injuries from his fall yesterday that he was keeping his outh closed about, but today looked like the ride of a healthy body.

Yeah, also bummed about RH. He could still podium, but how he takes back over two minutes from Nibali, let alone 1.5 minutes from Evans, I don't know. Tall order, that. Unless either have really bad day(s), seems RH went from driver's seat to now having to beat Wiggins, Gesink AND Scarponi just to be 3rd gc. I'm sure he'll come out swinging and take some time back but he's gotta not be pleased with today.

We will see, this ain't the TdF so I will be curious to see how the more severe climbs treat the gc heavies.
