Anyone know why Reijnan hasn't moved up to the big leagues? He seems to have a nose for the line. A team could do worse than some of the other US riders doing pack-fill duties in the pro peleton.

BMC, C-dale and Trek ...no Specialized ? Does the U.S. market matter at all? I know the U.S. Pro challenge isn't going to sell a lot if bikes but it has to be something

Those other teams have USA talent to highlight, the Specialized-equipped teams don't (Tinkoff, Astana, Etixx). They will get just as much PR (if not more) from doing well in the Vuelta as doing the US Pro Challenge.

Trek, C-dale didn't send their "A" to the U.S. , but they sent a team.

I'm sure Specialized could have pushed a little and gotten one of their sponsored teams to send enough B and C riders.

Heck Trek looks like they got the U.S. Team equipped with the new bike. They took it way more seriously from a marketing point of view.

oh yeah, TREK has set up a lot of their "B" riders with the latest Madone, I have actually ridden one that at one of the shops here in S.F. A young kid who is sponsored on an MTB even has one.
The little trap doors by the front brake are goofy as hell, that bike was a beauty, it had an amazing ride
