Is it my eyes or is Tom Dumoulin a Fred?



Isn't that a visor on his helmet?  Now if that is a custom fitting to hold the camera, well, UCI, the helmet manufactures and all else involved in the design decisions should be required to hang out on any of the many bike forums.  Also required to memorize the Velomati word for word, back to front.

Just looks like his glasses, upside down, with the top bridge looking like it's a visor...

You're right. Funny!

Taking glasses off while riding is an anathema to me. My glasses only come off if I need to see something up close, and that only these recent years. (I didn't wear glasses until I was 13. It was a revelation. I could see. Now, in these days of helmet held glasses, I wear eye-ware that costs so much I would never risk just sticking it in my helmet. Plus I chose frames that are not easy to pull off my ears for the same reason.)
