Watching Jens take that race was about as good as it gets for a stage like that.

Meh...missed it. Was on a plane, but had DirectTV so saw most of the stage but we landed before the finish. Saw the break @ 45" but didn't get to see who won.
Just say "NO!" to WCP!!!!

That was one of the most satisfying stages I've watched in the past 2 decades. Saved it on my dvr forever. Jens' post-race interview with Bobke and his later quotes are priceless (e.g.," I did the same move I've done since the ice age", etc.).

Awesome break thx to JV. Can't believe the chasers gave up and didn't work together. Gap went front 40 to 30 and then to a minute. The yellow jersey didn't even want to be in the race it seemed but he still is high in the ranking. Got Goosebumps watching the last 5k. Totally awesome.

alternate explanation for Jens winning. All the guys in the break get together and say wouldnt it be cool if the 41 year old wins a stage? Extend all of our own careers' longevity. Make the sponsors think we can continue winning stages into our 40's -- so we can all continue to ride and get paid. Possible? Cause I dont know how a 41 year old walks away from a group of younger elites like that
