Ryan Drummond out of Tulsa, OK https://legacy.usacycling.org/results/index.php?compid=448616 1st out of 44 in the Cat 4-5 this weekend... and he's 12 The podium shot is freaking hilarious! The guys on the lower steps tower over him and are having a hard time looking pleased about being there. The course had a long straightaway start and he got swamped due to being 12 and not much raw power but when the course hit the turns and barriers... he cleaned their clocks. Took the win by 20 seconds. His sister who is 16 recently kicked the collective ***s of the Mens Cat 3's. Dad won nationals in the 35+ a couple years ago so the kids come by it honestly. The nice thing is they are all nice people. None of them are full of themselves.

Seriously, that's nuts!! Almost more impressive than the 18-year old, double world champion from Belgium! Almost.

Wow. That's crazy. I remember doing alright as a 16/17 year old in Cat III/IV races (pre Cat V), but this kid, is well a KID!
