sorry - too lazy to hyperlink that (even though I just inquired last week) and/or post the picture 30% of the course is climbing, 3000+ meters for the whole route and a .6KM 11% grade nut-buster w/ a 16% ramp.

The question is: Is this too much climbing for a 1 day racer like Phillip G or Seagan?

Would this favor more a climber that has some power like AC? Should be interesting for sure....

They rode over much of the course in one of the stages of this year's Giro as a trial.

I'd think its a toss whether Gilbert/Sagan could be competitive or whether it is more for AC/Rodriguez types.

You heard it hear first...Andy for World Champ...he should be in shape by then and it's likely the best chance he'll ever get ;-)

It was Stage 9, with two Columbians on the podium that day and Betancur thinking he'd won.

Looks to me like more of a Purito/AC profile than a Sagan/Gilbert. Anybody know if the descents are technical? That'd rule out Andy.

fiesole at 5:05, but hard to tell how twisty the descent is.

Nibali could have good shot for a course like this.
