Genevieve Jeanson storming uphill at Sea Otter. Floyd Landis just gave her a place on his gravel team. https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/juarez-and-jeanson-headline-floyds-of-leadville-racing-in-2022/ So, 40 years old and she hasn't raced for 15 years. It'll be a challenge. If she can find the love of racing again only now in a place where she is wanted for being her, not just a money producing and ego inflating tool for others, I'm on board as fan.

Juarez looks ageless (he kicked my behind back in the day, props to him for staying so fit) Tyler Hamilton next? I was ready to sneer, but it's a good article. That said, I will snicker at Floyd's sunglasses.

Her coach and doctor pretty much nailed her program. A woman climbing Mt Washington 4 minutes faster than Dale Stetina? But taking a gifted 15yo girl and sending her on that journey for years - men have served hard time for doing far less. -7 doesn't get to argue his journey was forced on him. No, he was as abusive to others as Jeanson's coach was to her. -7 just spread out that abuse to many and often had others do the dirty work. Jeanson won my heart being a climber's climber and having the heart of a lion. She hasn't climbed in a long time but it's good to see the heart is still there.

That Juarez and Landis photo is priceless. And yes good on Jeanson. Gravel will never be the same again.
