I am really excited about this race. I hope it gets televised. This has always been a sprinters paradise, lots of breakaways, fast and furious on The Parkway towards the finish line, and crazy attackers on the ½ mile 17% Wall in the big ring. I would have been cheering for Fast Freddie but I guess his chances are very limited on Sunday since they moved the finish line. It’s going to be a crazy finish at the top of the Wall with drunken spectators yelling and ringing those cow bells. I am going to try and get there but I am not holding my breath. I’ve been going every year and usually find a good spot on the Wall, but now that the finish is on the Wall it will be insane.

Every year on the Saturday before race day all the teams are out on a training ride in and around the Art Museum.   Last year I think I might have P’d off few Bissell riders for asking if I could sand bag on their train, they nodded yes then they put the hammer down and tried to drop me, afterwards I thank them for the pull and split. Two riders didn’t even acknowledge my gratitude but one said you are welcome with a smile. That was good enough.

I would love to see these kind of races get streamed. Have fun and good luck.
