To pee or not to pee.  (If you are male and over 65 the answer is always yes.  But if you are in the pro peloton, the question may haunt you for a lifetime.)

Demi Vollering's decision to pee during a quiet portion of Stage 6.  Movistar's pre-planned(?) decision go full bore and start echelons at a turn soon after.  This cost Vollering the red jersey and probably the final GC.  Poor planning or dirty pool?

I say poor planning.  If there is a place where echeloning can happen, you don't get a grace barring crashes for not being there.  At the same time, Movistar probably should expect a "less than nice" courtesy in the future.  Overall, I'd chalk this up to a learning experience for Team SD Worx and a note that women's racing is growing up and not all of it is pretty!

This may already be payback for an incident in last year’s Tour. A van Vleuten flat and now pee pee polemica.

The larger issue may be that with shorter women’s stages the nature break is bound to be closer to sharp end of race.

But who is this Shakes Pear dude? Does he shake pears from trees?
