That is nasty weather! What is this Italy? AC went down hard with 25.2 K left. Hooked up my laptop to the TV nice to watch this suffer Fest on the big screen. Can't see how anyone will beat Froome at the tour what a team Sky is going to bring.

Hope AC wasn't hurt. After yesterday, I was thinking Froome ought to be worried. AC lost only 7 seconds riding all the late miles as a domestique and not even looking at Froome.

AC's still 4 weeks from best form. You mentioned the strong Sky team. Yes, but ... Froome has what, 8 allies in the big dance? Of the 200 starters, AC is free to (and really good at) pick up whoever suits his needs at any given moment. Any time Froome has a bad moment there are190 riders who would happily help AC turn the screws.

My take? Froome will show up prepared to win. AC will ride the Tour to win. And I'll predict he teams up with someone (Rodriguez maybe?) to pull it off and helps that rider to 2nd place. Froome - last podium spot.

Ben,

Good point. And you know when it comes to the mountains once the Sky train starts to look weak you can expect every Iberian blooded rder to come forward to attack. Team kit is one thing but natioanl pride know no team boundaries.

Froome needs some very quick lessons in 'making nice'. One poor interview and the peleton will mark him all the way off the podium.

I'm looking forward to some great racing!

Ya I hope they can launch missions against the Empire and ultimately defeat Froome Vader.
