is Mr. Froome getting a tad overconfident?

Yes; Sir Bradley is likely not amused.

I would really like to see Purito drop him like a bad habit on the first really steep climb.

Its rare to see one without a Grand Tour win talk so much smack leading up to the Tour. 12 months ago he was a nobody

If he keeps it up he the crusty Euro Pros will stick it to him that first week. Do not be surprised if he runs into kerbs and traffic islands that suddenly appear

So Froome is telling Contador he will have to fight it out with the other Spaniards for the last podium spot? Now these Spaniards are on different teams. They never talk to each other, right? And they don't speak English, so they will never see this interview, again, right? And the best coffee is grown on that southern continent, Antarctica. Right?

Froome is definitely starting to talk too much too soon, although I don't think he means a lot of it the way it often comes across. I'm finding myself rooting for Contador this year.

Many of these riders, to judge by their statements to the press, come off as a bit mentally challenged. Froome's slim palarmès make his boasting sound only slightly more ridiculous than that of a guy who, having won several Tours, doesn't see much difference between his placing 61st in the Dauphiné Time Trial and Froome's placing 3rd. Whatever!

The arrogance that comes from knowing your special "training" is better than everyone else.

Mule? http://www.hark.com/clips/yggsssmbtj-my-mule-thinks-youre-laughing-at-him "You see my mule don't like people laughing. He gets the crazy idea you're laughing at him. Now if you apologize like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it"

too much, we'll see what happens come tour time eh? I think everyone is on to Sky's tactics this year, and then we have Contador in the mix, and now he's blowing Schite on the Spaniards? Does Contador and company bribe the Columbians from Sky? ha ha ha
My buddy calls Froome Jack Skelington, from the way he looks on the bike, that cracks me up
