When he says he thinks his form will be 100% by the tour.....even though I don't buy it for a second. I just so desperately want the tour to be somewhat exciting this year, even 80% as good as the giro would be great. The more contenders show up ready to challenge, the better in my books.

Froome vs. the world and you're looking for A.S. to add excitement to the tour ?

andy should target the dots; he'll never have the TT chops to win it all.

bwahahahahaha, no way Andy makes it more exciting, but his soap opera style drama at the Tour will add some spice. Purito and Contador will make this one good this year, battling with Froome and Porte
The tour has become a bit of a snooze these days, Nibali dominated everyone at the Giro, the weather was the star this year, I have a feeling the Vuelta will once again be the most exciting Grand Tour this year

I myself can't wait to see him descending again... is it wrong to hope for rain?

andy's not a bad descender (ref: chaingate), and few have the huebos to really let it rip on wet roads. personally, watching guys crash on descents isn't something i look forward to.

Me too. With little to no pressure and low expectations, conditions are good for Andy to surprise everyone. Maybe his injuries were more severe than he let on. The realization that one is no longer invincible often happens after a bad crash or injury in sports and can be very difficult to overcome.

No no no, he can't peak for the lap around France, I have him down as my favorite for Worlds. Its now or never for him for rainbow; a chance like this won't come around for another generation.

Poor dude he went OTB on today's last mountain stage (cat 2). I like that he is still trying and if nothing more fights all the way to Paris. Forget results just finish.

And now you can root for him at 2/3 off!
When he goes to 75% off I might start cheering for him again, my fan dollars are pretty tight these days

Raise the French babies and throw the soft cheeses......limited time only.....

In all seriousness, it was a heck of an effort the other day by Bakelandts (sp?)

I'm with you. But it won't be tomorrow, probably.

I think he'll end up top 10.

Well he seems to be climbing better, that TT was probably a chill effort. No top 10 but maybe he can be competitive in the Alps, and snag one.
