Sad to see the country that once was a cycling powerhouse being reduced to rubble.

I always enjoyed their scrappy presence in the grand tours.

really, two countries here -- the basques see themselves as separate from spain & france and yes it's a pity to see the orange go by the wayside, especially because they tried for so long to keep it a basque-only team. but i think that spain, spanish authorities and spanish teams have really been the eye of the storm regarding PEDs (and why girona became the training ground of choice for so many) so i've got no tears to see their results come back to earth.

Yeah, calling them Spaniards is legitimately debatable.

Loved watching them on the mountain stages.

Yup, it's got virtually nothing to do with Spain. The fact that that were going through tough times has been known for over a year now so no news really. Any loss of Orange in the peleton is always sad.
Wonder if Orbea is going to supply another pro team.
And where will Sammy go?

yeah, Orbea is a Basque cooperative. They sponsored us one year....a good bike for the money. Will miss them.

Sammy - where indeed? Will anyone touch him? Will he submit to climbing domestique duties?

Hey, yeah....where the hell has Hab been?
Just say "NO!" to WCP!!!!

He's been spotted recently on Mt Washington...without a bike and in a tie dye shirt...argghh (no kidding)
