I think the two wheel drive applies to 3 wheelers, which is another scenario, somebody can hardly walk, and then they get in their mind, well, I can do a 3 wheeler electric bike, and then they think they should cost about 300 bucks....
don't have exact numbers master, but is well over 2/3hp, easily. some of these things will roll 25 to 30mph like nothing, it's gotta be way more than 2/3hp
Hope this works LSD, can't remember exactly how to post pics to this site

I was referring to 2 wheel drive front and rear on a bicycle not a trike. These would be custom built. The 2 wheel drive MTB was from the 90s and I saw 3 or 4 sold here. Real mtbers broke them and everyone else hated the weight of the complete bike.. they used a ring and pinion gear on the rear wheel to drive a cable made like a speedometer cable to drive the front wheel with another ring and pinion gear. Heavy and low quality.. You appreciate a pro going 50 kph in a TT is likely only making a little more than 1/2 hp? 1 HP is 750 watts reading the motor vehicle regulations for BC I think any bicycle that has enough power to go 30 MPH without the rider putting in a lot of the power is not a legal bicycle. there are other categories for electric vehicles but they must be licenced and insured like a car, albeit a specific kind of plate. There are bicycles here that are way over this power and every once and a while the cops write them tickets for an unlicensed vehicle or driving without a licence. Here you can drive a 50 cc vehicle with a car licence. My wife's Honda Jazz did not make 25 HP and it could do almost 40 MPH downhill with a tailwind.
