Two predictions I made this season, just after the All Star break, came true. The first was that no AL East team would make the World Series. The second was that the Cubs would win the World Series. Congrats CK, they finally did it!

What a roller coaster.....both the series and the game. Neither team laid down at any point....it wasn't even that one team won or lost, it was that one outlasted the other.

It is only fitting that the Cubs WS streak ended with an epic struggle....no way it was gonna be easy. And LSD is spot-on....best Game 7 ever.

Here's a little giggle for you....Ross is one of my favorite players and when he hit his dinger to take some of the pressure off the Cubs, I exploded. My middle daughter was secretly waiting to tape one of my emotional outburts....

Holy cow! CK, your outburst was awesome!

Big congrats to the Cubbies and when is the celebratory dinner featuring roast goat?

PS. You guys need to send Bartman season tickets for next year and a huge bouquet of flowers.

Always Liked Ross, when he played for the Red Sox. What a sweet victory, to end his career. Great dinger celebration! Now the count down to Spring Training is on. Cubs game is on my list for next year. Have to see a game at Wrigley.

Congrats Cub fans. It's been awhile since a Chicago team won a championship, at least that I can recall... maybe the Blackhawks are the most recent? As a cheesehead, that's been fine with me. Have a few friends who are Cub fans.

Anyway, I hope this is not one of the seven signs...

Went down to the rally today with my oldest daughter....holy humanity. 5 million people...ranks as the 7th largest gathering if humans ever.

It is November 4....I was outside in Chicago in 60* weather on perfect day celebrating a Cubs World Series victory.

What the hell has happened to the world?!?!?

Great that you were able to enjoy that experience with your daughter!

What the hell has happened to the world you ask?

We'll find out tomorrow night.
