Storms keep on moving in and unseasonably cold, temps below freezing in the AM. Rain, hail, wind, snow. Worst I have seen since I retired in 1998 and got back on my bike. Could continue until April. Riding has almost gone to nil. Came down with a cold type virus end of Feb and I can't seem to shake it. Went out Monday and I had to cut it short around the 14 mile mark and return home.Storms are moving east, so stand by. Man I hate winter.

Where are you zoot?

We've had temperatures around freezing mark for last two weeks in Vancouver BC. Couple snow dumps but roads clear pretty quick after. Off roads not so much. Been getting the riding in between snow events. Today again. Just about to go out for metric century gravel ride. Snow predicted again tomorrow and Saturday so gotta get my kicks in. Work can be moved around. Also running gauntlet between sick people but haven't even had a sniffle yet this winter. Too busy for that. Fingers crossed.

I live in Auburn Ca, which is the Sierra Nevada foothills about 30 miles east of Sacramento. Our house is around the 1400ft elevation level. Most of my rides are around 2000ft. I can't imagine how cold it is in BC. It usually does not get that cold here. I thought winter was over, we were getting spring type weather in January. On my second week with this cold virus. Not a good start for the new year...

Sounds like Virginia. For the entire last year.
Wettest year ever in 2018, and 2019 is keeping pace.
Mountain bike trails are closed most of the time. Just too soggy.

It's probably the same temps in Vancouver than where you are. The BC interior is much colder though.

Success on ride. 113kms. Road gravel mud grass snow and ice.
